Coffee-Based Beverages

White Chocolate Coffee (Hot or Iced)

White Chocolate Coffee (Hot or Iced)

Indulge in the richness of Peet's Midtown Roast with creamy, rich white chocolate and luscious milk froth for an elevated coffee experience.

You'll need:

Directions:

  1. Place a mug onto the tray of your L'OR BARISTA System and balance the piece of white chocolate across the top of the glass, leaving enough room for coffee to flow over it into the cup (or break it up and place it in the bottom of the mug).
  2. Press the medium (8 oz) pour button and let the coffee flow into the mug. This will gradually melt the white chocolate; give it a good stir to combine.
  3. Using the L'OR Milk Frother, add 3.9oz of whole milk (to the fill line) and froth until creamy.
  4. Pour the milk into the white chocolate coffee mixture and enjoy.

For Iced: To make an iced version, add ice to your coffee glass after step 2 and use the cold froth setting on the L’OR Milk Frother.

Brown Sugar Coffee (Hot or Iced)

This rich and delicious brown sugar coffee featuring Peet's French Roast and oat milk is a deep, smoky beverage with a smooth, soft finish. French Roast pairs beautifully with whichever milk you prefer, but for this recipe in particular, the creamy, richness of oat milk is ideal.

You'll need:

Directions:

  1. Add the brown sugar and water to a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and remove from heat once all the brown sugar is dissolved.
  2. Drizzle brown sugar syrup into a mug.
  3. Use your L'OR BARISTA System to brew a Peet's French Roast coffee capsule on the medium (8 oz) setting into the mug.
  4. Add oat milk to taste and enjoy.

For Iced: To make an iced version, follow the steps above but add ice to your coffee glass after step 1.

  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • Whipped cream
  • Dark chocolate syrup
  • Ice (optional)

Directions:

  1. Place the dark chocolate in a mug and use your L'OR BARISTA System to brew the coffee into it on the medium (8oz) setting, melting the chocolate with its heat. Add sugar and stir until fully combined.
  2. Pour milk over it to your desired level.
  3. Top with whipped cream and, optionally, drizzle with dark chocolate syrup.

For Iced: To make an iced version, follow the steps above but add ice to your coffee glass after step 2.

Tiramisu Coffee (Hot or Iced)

We decided to take the delicious and creamy flavors of tiramisu and pair them with our Le Tigre Coffee Blend for the most decadent coffee recipe. Our Le Tigre Coffee Blend is a dark-roasted and intense blend with fresh notes of star anise that give way to mild sweetness and pleasant woodiness in taste.

You'll need:

Directions:

  1. Add the heavy cream, mascarpone cheese, and sugar to a small cup and stir gently to begin softening the cheese. Then use a frother or whisk to whip until thick and smooth.
  2. Using the L’OR BARISTA System, brew 8oz of L’OR Le Tigre Dark Roast Coffee into a separate coffee glass.
  3. Pour the tiramisu foam over top of the coffee, and evenly dust cocoa powder on top.

Espresso-Based Beverages

Latte (Hot or Iced)

Latte (Hot or Iced)

With its generous amount of milk and foam, a latte typically offers more protein and can be more filling than other café drinks. It also lends itself well to added flavors like vanilla or hazelnut, making it a versatile café order.

You'll need:

  • 1 L’OR espresso capsule (classic or flavored)
  • 6-8 oz. milk
  • Ice (optional)

Directions:

  • Make a serving (or two, for a double) of espresso with your L'OR BARISTA System.
  • Fill the rest of your cup with the steamed milk of your choice.
  • You can use the L'OR Milk Frother or a whisk to add an optional dash of frothed milk to the top if you'd like.
  • For extra flair, add a drizzle of caramel or sprinkle of cinnamon to finish it off.

For Iced: To make an iced version, follow the steps above, but let the espresso cool off for a few minutes before adding ice. Then, pour cold milk almost to the top of your glass, stir, and enjoy.

Iced Caramel Macchiato (Hot or Iced)

Iced Caramel Macchiato (Hot or Iced)

The word "macchiato" is Italian for "marked" or "stained;" it's an apt name for the drink, which is traditionally served as a shot of espresso marked or lightened by a simple dollop of milk foam on top.

You'll need:

Directions:

  1. Use your L'OR BARISTA System to prepare a serving of caramel espresso (or two, for a double).
  2. Use your L'OR Milk Frother or whisk to whip your cold milk into foam.
  3. Gently add a foam dollop (or several, if you'd like) to the top of your espresso, and tada! You've made an iced caramel macchiato. Drizzle with caramel for extra depth of flavor.

For Iced: To make an iced version, follow the steps above, but let the espresso cool off for a few minutes before adding ice. Then, pour cold milk almost to the top of your glass, stir, and enjoy.

Mocha (Hot or Iced)

You'll need:

Directions:

  1. Use your L'OR BARISTA System to prepare a shot (or two, if you prefer) of chocolate espresso.
  2. For extra flavor, add a tablespoon of chocolate syrup into the cup, stirring well to combine.
  3. Use your L'OR Milk Frother to whip the milk into foam.
  4. Pour the foam over the combined chocolate and espresso and enjoy.

For Iced: To make an iced version, follow the steps above, but let the espresso cool off for a few minutes before adding ice. Then, pour cold milk almost to the top of your glass, stir, and enjoy.

Cappuccino (Hot or Iced)

Cappuccino (Hot or Iced)

In Italian coffee culture, a cappuccino is a classic espresso beverage enjoyed only in the early or mid-morning, often accompanied by a breakfast pastry. It's made with more or less equal parts espresso, steamed milk, and milk foam, lending a rich, frothy mouthfeel to each sip.

You'll need:

Directions:

  1. Use your L'OR BARISTA System to make a double shot of espresso.
  2. Top it with equal parts steamed milk and milk foam. To do this, first pour half the milk into the L'OR Milk Frother and warm it (but do not froth it). Add the warmed milk to your espresso.
  3. Fill the frother with the remaining milk, froth it, pour it on top, and enjoy.

For Iced: To make an iced version, let the espresso cool off for a few minutes before adding ice and use cold milk and the cold frothing option on the L’OR Milk Frother.
