  • 2.7oz of L’OR Profondo Lungo Espresso
  • 1 3/4 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  1. Brew 1 L’OR Profundo Lungo Espresso in the L’OR BARISTA System on the medium setting (2.7oz).
  2. In a saucepan, heat the whole milk, espresso, and heavy cream over medium heat until it starts to simmer. Avoid boiling.
  3. Add the granulated sugar and stir until it dissolves completely.
  4. Reduce the heat to low, and gradually whisk in the chopped dark chocolate and unsweetened cocoa powder until both are fully melted, and the mixture is smooth.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  6. Continue to heat the hot chocolate on low, stirring occasionally, for an additional 5-7 minutes until it thickens to your desired consistency.
  7. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Enjoy!
