A Dirty Chai Latte is a traditional chai tea with an added shot of espresso. When served with a splash of cold milk, it becomes the perfect way to start the morning.

The “dirty” version of the chai latte was accidentally invented in England during the 1990s, when a barista making a chai latte, added a shot of espresso by mistake. The customer loved the drink so much, he continued to order it everywhere he traveled.
